The Moulin de Bas Couleur is a peaceful haven nestled in nature, set within more than 3 hectares along the Brenne River, in the heart of the Loire Valley castles region.

We offer two beautiful ground-floor guest rooms located in a fully renovated former cattle barn. To preserve its authentic charm, remnants of the old barn have been thoughtfully repurposed as decorative features within the rooms.

To help you feel “at home,” a shared living area (lounge/dining room) is available for our guests.

Fully equipped and featuring a wood-burning stove, this space is perfect for relaxing in a cozy atmosphere or enjoying moments of connection with other guests.

In addition to a 10 x 5 meter swimming pool, we offer a wide range of outdoor activities: table tennis and outdoor games, wellness treatments (including various types of massage), and electric bike rentals.

On the culinary side, a varied and tailor-made breakfast is included with your stay. In summer, it is served on the outdoor terrace or in the barn’s living area.

A host’s table dinner is available in the evening by reservation (at least 72 hours prior to arrival), featuring homemade, family-style cuisine prepared with local and seasonal ingredients.

We can also provide sharing platters and picnic baskets for your daytime excursions to the region’s castles.
